Kosher Meat Plant Raid

Michigander Sickened By Tomato

10 06 2008

Just stop eating tomatoes until this whole thing passes over.  Do they taste that good that you’re willing to chance it?

A Kent County man looks to be the first person in Michigan to be sickened by the salmonella outbreak associated with tomatoes.

The Kent County Health Department is working with the Michigan Department of Community Health and the Michigan Department of Agriculture to find the possible sources of the nationwide outbreak.

The 46-year-old man in Kent County was not hospitalized and has recovered.

The unfortunate thing about this article is it doesn’t tell us where he got the contaminated tomato from.
