I assume you know the committee did not take a scheduled vote on HB 4377 today?
Bert Johnson wants to get an agreement with the Senate before he moves a bill. He doesn’t want a repeat of last year.
I don’t know if that is possible — by summer or anytime else.

Yeah…I watched the Committee hearing for a while, but had other things to do. It was over by the time I came back.
OK. I’m still not sure it’s possible by summer. The 2009 budget deficit seems to grow hourly. Mike Bishop seems pretty determined to only deal with that right now.
But maybe there’s more going on behind the scenes.
