Thanks, Jen! I've seen a few Mancino's including one on Cedar near Goodwill. Wasn't sure if they were the same chain or not. One day we'll get over there. I love Grinders and the one at City Limits was no exception.

Thanks, also, for the other recommendations. A few of those were already on our list and a few I hadn't heard of yet. Right now, our list is bigger than our budget...if we can get to a couple a week, I feel pretty good. This last weekend was more of the exception than the norm.

Hi!
I am glad you enjoyed City Limits! I am a big foodie too... Jess and I always talk about the best places to eat at work before the 11 o'clock news. And, yes, I always check your blog because I love seeing how you like the places in our area. I grew up around Lansing, so I've been to many of the places you reviewed. It's great to read your take on our old favorites. Here's a list of must tries:
1. Mancinos! (we do have them here! The ones I know of are both on Saginaw Hwy.)
2. Cugino's (Family Italian restaurant in Grand Ledge)
3. Sophia's (pancake house in Grand Ledge... the best!)
4. Jersey Giant (have you been to one of those before?)
5. Backyard BBQ (on Grand River Avenue across from MSU)
6. BTB (Mexican place on Grand River Avenue across from MSU)
7. Guerrazzi's (Brunch is great! on Old 27)
(OK, now I'm forgetting a ton, I know, but this should get ya going! I'll let Jess know of more as soon as I think of them!)
