It may not be voted on even next week. The local media has been (not surprisingly) quiet on this, so it's great to find the info somewhere that cares about the issue. Okay...another restaurant recommendation. Have you checked out the new Fiesta Charra location over in East Lansing/Okemos on Grand River? We moved here from Colorado in August, and it's far and away the best Mexican we've found here so far. There's a couple of interesting quirks (including their ongoing saga of trying to get a liquor license), but all in all it's a great experience, and the folks working there are extremely friendly.
